COOKING CLUB

Cooking Club began in November 2015 and has since become our most popular club.
It is a lunch time club which runs over 3 days and is open to the whole school.
The main aims of our Cooking club are:
  • To teach the children about food hygiene
  • To demonstrate and teach the children how to safely use various utensils to prepare ingredients
  • To share with the children how to maintain a healthy, balanced diet
  • To encourage them to try different foods
Although we loved making all of the indulgent Christmas treats last term, we will now be focusing on creating healthy versions of popular recipes and will be avoiding refined sugar and artificial ingredients. ( Until Easter,,,!)
We will be posting the recipes below, as well as some snaps of the mini chefs at work!
