Our Eco Council |
The aim of the Eco Schools Initiative is to empower pupils to be the change that our sustainable world needs by engaging them in fun, action orientated learning.
At St David's, our Eco Council are responsible for looking after the school environment and they strive to make the school as environmentally friendly as possible. Each year, the Eco Council is elected and pupils from Year 2 - 6 can join.
Each year, meetings begin by completing an Environmental Review and then this is used to create an Action Plan and priorities for the year. These are worked towards in half-termly meetings and are attended and coordinated by the whole school Eco Council and Miss Edwards.
